We are seeking a board-certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Alabama, starting Jan 5, 2026. This position offers a week on/week off schedule with 24-hour call from home, providing coverage for an inpatient pediatric floor, ED consults, and newborn couplet care with NNP support.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide care for a inpatient pediatric floor
Respond to emergency department consults
Manage newborn couplet care with neonatal nurse practitioner support
No nursery call or rounds; NICU coverage is handled separately
Additional Information
Board certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is required; board-eligible candidates are not accepted
Must hold an active Alabama license or be eligible through the IMLC
Must have been clinically active within the past year
At least 6 months of recent clinical experience in pediatric hospital medicine required
Completion of a prescreen questionnaire is mandatory
CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
