is seeking a seasoned
Legal Secretary
to provide high‑level administrative and legal support to multiple busy attorneys. This role is perfect for someone who excels in fast‑paced environments, manages complex caseloads with ease, and maintains exceptional professionalism when handling sensitive legal matters.

Position Overview The Legal Secretary plays a vital role in supporting attorneys through case management, document preparation, calendaring, and client communication. The ideal candidate brings
5+ years of litigation experience , strong technical skills, and the ability to stay calm, poised, and detail‑focused under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, format, proofread, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
E‑file documents in state and federal courts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all deadlines.
Serve as a professional liaison to clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors.
Manage attorneys' calendars: hearings, deadlines, depositions, client meetings, and case milestones.
Schedule and confirm witness meetings, court reporters, and expert consultations.
Prepare and track expense reports, assist with billing, and maintain organized documentation.
Monitor deadlines and ensure all pending tasks are completed proactively.
Support attorneys with additional administrative needs as required.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
5+ years of litigation support experience , ideally in a mid‑size or large firm.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with document management software (iManage preferred).
Solid understanding of legal terminology, timelines, and litigation processes.
Excellent communication, proofreading, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Must be able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Remote / Hybrid Work Hybrid schedule:
up to
4 remote days per month . Remaining days require in‑office presence in
San Francisco .
Compensation & Benefits $85,000 - $105,000
base salary (depending on experience).
401(k) + profit sharing.
