Litigation Legal Assistant, Hybrid Schedule
Base Pay Range
$85,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a well-established defense firm to identify a Legal Assistant for their San Francisco office. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity supporting multiple litigation attorneys. The Legal Assistant will play a key role in maintaining efficient case management, providing high-level administrative and organizational support, and ensuring smooth daily operations within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
Draft, format, proofread, and finalize litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
File legal documents with courts electronically, ensuring compliance with state and federal deadlines and procedures
Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors
Manage attorney legal calendars, coordinate court dates, depositions, meetings, and deadlines
Schedule and confirm appointments with clients, witnesses, and court reporters
Prepare expense reports and assist with billing documentation
Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks to ensure timely completion
Perform general administrative duties and provide additional litigation support as needed
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience supporting multiple attorneys
Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures, including e-filing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with legal document management systems such as iManage preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities with a high attention to detail
Team-oriented, professional, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
Full-time position based in the San Francisco office
Professional, collaborative environment focused on supporting high-stakes litigation work
Hybrid schedule available after training (four remote days per month, subject to change)
Overtime may be required on an as-needed basis
