Korn Ferry is partnered with a leading global innovator in collagen, nutraceutical, and health & nutrition ingredients who is seeking a Business Development Lead to accelerate market expansion, shape innovation-driven growth, and build high-impact partnerships across North America. This is a key commercial leadership role driving strategy, pipeline activation, and category development in premium nutrition, metabolic health, and functional beauty.
As the Business Development Lead, you will define and execute the regional growth agenda by identifying new opportunities, shaping go‑to‑market strategies, and converting scientific and consumer insights into commercially successful solutions. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Science, Innovation, and Marketing teams to bring new ingredient concepts to market and form long‑term strategic relationships with top CPG, nutraceutical, and ingredient companies. You will also serve as a key member of the regional leadership team and act as the voice of the customer within the global innovation network.
What You’ll Do Strategic Market Expansion
Identify and develop new business opportunities across North America, focusing on premium nutrition, metabolic health, and functional beauty.
Build a multi‑year growth pipeline by translating consumer insights and scientific trends into actionable commercial strategies.
Drive new customer acquisition and strategic partnerships with leading brands and manufacturers.
Impact: Deliver 15%+ annual growth in new business pipeline value and expand presence across new accounts and segments.
Partner with Science, Innovation, and Marketing teams to bring new concepts to market.
Own business cases, commercialization roadmaps, and customer value propositions for innovation launches.
Impact: Meet launch milestones, achieve first‑year revenue targets, and ensure innovation aligns with customer needs.
Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, industry partners, accelerators, and co‑development collaborators.
Represent the organization at major industry conferences and events to amplify visibility and fuel lead generation.
Impact: Establish partnerships that unlock new segments and accelerate revenue growth.
Serve as the North American customer advocate within global growth and innovation teams.
Provide commercial input on positioning, pricing, storytelling, and market strategies.
Contribute to shaping the regional growth strategy and guiding commercial excellence.

Experience navigating cross‑functional, global matrix teams.
