Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center (LHH), part of the San Francisco Department of Public Health, has an opportunity for a
Clinical Psychologist (2574)
to join our multidisciplinary Psychiatry Service team.
This is a unique opportunity to provide meaningful, trauma-informed care to adults with complex behavioral health needs in one of the largest skilled nursing facilities in the U.S.
What You’ll Do
Deliver mental health and substance use treatment services, including individual and group therapy
Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning
Provide behavioral consultation and crisis intervention
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on behavioral management strategies
Document services in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Offer training and supervision to psychology trainees
What We’re Looking For
Licensed Psychologist
in California (required)
At least
1 year of experience
in a mental health program
Experience with serious mental illness, substance use, and neurocognitive disorders
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Bonus: Bilingual fluency, leadership or teaching experience, flexibility in dynamic environments
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (onsite only)
No telehealth or alternative schedules available
Serve a diverse and underserved population
Be part of a supportive, interdisciplinary team
Contribute to a mission-driven public health system
