Job Description We are seeking a Director of Analytics to join our team. At Zeno, we harness the power of data and storytelling to deliver Performance Communications solutions for our clients. As a key team member on the data & analytics team, you will develop and market these services across a portfolio of clients ranging from corporate to consumer as well as healthcare.

About The Role The main function of this role is to help drive the team forward. You will be actively managing multiple projects/programs across several clients and need to think both strategically as well as be willing to get your hands dirty with the more tactical nature of the business. Leveraging advanced analytics and emerging AI tools, you will uncover insights that inform strategy, optimize performance and drive measurable impact. You will oversee client deliverables, manage budgets, and create estimates as incremental work is solidified. The individual should have managerial experience and should be a proven leader with relevant analytics experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee data & analytics initiatives, ensuring quality work, deadline and budget adherence.

Provide innovative measurement solutions to uncover key business insights and actionable optimizations across all marketing initiatives (paid, earned, owned).

Evaluate the feasibility of complex programs and help chart the course to success based on irrefutable data and evidence.

Mentor, manage and work side‑by‑side with junior team members.

Demonstrate passion and commitment to elevate and expand data and analytics capabilities by inspiring and educating key internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain a positive attitude and proven ability to work with others across the agency through challenging assignments, providing ongoing support and managing quick‑turn asks for high‑expectation clients.

Promote cross‑functional collaboration as a strong and active partner across teams (strategy, creative, buying, account), using data‑driven insights to provide strategic, creative and tactical client business solutions.

Liaise with different stakeholders, develop solutions that are additive and push work across paid media with a keen eye for best‑in‑class communications.

Articulate a clear point of view regarding performance media solutions, breaking down complex concepts into services and outcomes that drive results for clients.

Qualifications

At least 6–7 years of hands‑on data management and data analytic experience in a client‑facing paid media or marketing role.

At least 2–3 years of experience managing people and/or teams.

Solid understanding of programming foundations and ability to understand data structures.

Strong understanding of marketing initiatives and the various metrics that are associated with them, with a particular focus in earned, digital and social metrics.

Comfort with ambiguity, variability, and change in business requirements.

Ability to generate multiple effective solutions that address specific data and analytic needs.

Ability to build presentation materials and present in an articulate and easy‑to‑understand fashion to director, VP, and C‑suite level clients with a clear storyline that addresses client business needs.

Comfort generating multiple solutions to data analysis and data display challenges.

Experience generating custom reports; knowledge of Excel required.

Ability to manage multiple projects independently and prioritize tasks.

Detail oriented with the ability to pay close attention to accuracy of personal work and work of others.

Skills to create data visualizations using Tableau, Google Data Studio.

Excellent verbal communication and writing skills and ability to clearly, effectively and appropriately for the intended purpose and audience.

Experience with digital or PR tools a plus, such as Google Analytics (GA4), Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok, Instagram, Sprout Social, Onclusive, Talkwalker, Cision, Meltwater, Profound, Muck Rack, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, FiveTran, etc.

Additional Qualifications

Experience with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) or SEO background/experience.

Experience with Organic Social reporting.

Pay Range $115,000 to $127,000 USD

Employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue‑based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
