Business Development Director

Role Overview We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Director to lead and inspire our hospital's inpatient and outpatient growth in the IRF and/or LTCH setting. In this senior leadership role, you will design and implement innovative referral programs, drive census growth, and foster a culture centered on patient safety and care excellence. You will guide, train, and develop a dynamic Business Development team while creating strategies that align with our mission and deliver exceptional outcomes for patients, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Reviews, evaluates, and monitors critical numbers and progress toward goals.
Understands and manages operational and financial metrics.
Manages all marketing operations, including hiring and recruiting staff.
Oversees admission processes and reimbursement system.
Communicates opportunities and threats in the marketplace to senior management.
Identifies new and repackages existing product lines in collaboration with hospital leadership.

Qualifications
Driver’s license and acceptable driving record per company policy.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a marketing representative or nurse liaison in a healthcare environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Successful track record in leading, managing, or directing sales and marketing, preferably in healthcare.
Experience with physician relations, case management, managed care, and local healthcare market knowledge preferred.
