Roessel Joy is excited to announce a new leadership opportunity! Roessel Joy is looking for a motivated, driven individual with staffing experience to join our team. The role is best-suited for an independent self-starter with a high level of drive, great relationship-building and leadership skills, and the ability to function confidently and professionally within a sales environment.
The Business Development Manager role requires the strong ability for identifying, building, and maintaining client relationships. In this role, you will establish recruiting partnerships with client companies and lead the Finance & Accounting – Perm Division to ensure top-tier candidates are presented to help clients solve their long-term business needs.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished sales leader with a proven record of consistent achievement and account retention within the recruiting industry.
Responsibilities
Sell Roessel Joy as a Finance & Accounting business partner to prospective client companies through multiple resources – including cold calling, virtual or in-person client meeting, referrals, social media, etc.
Build trusted relationships with client companies, analyze client needs, and manage fee negotiations
Develop comprehensive strategies to win new business from new and existing accounts
Communicate new job openings, closings, and feedback from the client to ensure strong candidate matches and line up interviews in a timely manner
Oversee and assist junior professionals in the Finance & Accounting – Perm Division, with goals of employee success and retention
Identify skill gaps and provide appropriate trainings to the Finance & Accounting – Perm team
Work with Management and fellow Division Directors to develop business and performance goals
Create and execute Finance & Accounting – Perm Division operations to achieve and exceed company goals
Develop client and candidate base to grow business opportunities, while maintaining outstanding customer service
Guide candidates through the recruitment process, including providing communication and career guidance, interview tips and resume help
Network with candidates offline during job fairs and networking events
Work with Operations/Marketing teams on postings for client and candidate outreach
Provide market updates to Management and Division relating to trends in the Finance & Accounting services
Qualifications
BS/BA degree required, studies in Business Administration, or Accounting & Finance related fields a plus
2+ years of Staffing, Recruiting, or Consulting industry experience
Enjoys working with and being part of a team
Excellent communications and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to self-manage
Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly and effectively in a fast-paced sales environment
Desire to grow and take on more responsibilities
Desire to exceed metric benchmarks and become a top producer
Ability to manage Finance & Accounting – Temp Division and collaborate with fellow Roessel Joy team members to maintain a cohesive environment
