What We're Looking For The Branch Manager will be responsible for the daily operations and overall success of the banking branch. This individual will direct all operational aspects of the branch in accordance with bank policies, establish and update policies and procedures regarding branch activities, and provide training, coaching, development and motivation for branch staff. The Branch Manager will work closely with various departments to provide the highest level of customer service to clients.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the administration, customer service, and efficient daily operation of the branch office adhering to all bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate the efficient delivery of deposit services to bank retail and corporate customers.
Open/close various deposit accounts in accordance with bank policies/procedures, BSA/AML requirements and other regulatory/compliance laws.
Perform required tasks to meet the goals of the Bank’s strategic plan.
Coach and supervise branch tellers and new accounts staff in servicing activities.
Create and implement training programs for every branch staff member using Human Resource and training guidelines.
Implement and review bank policies and procedures.
Review and approve various general ledger reconciliations relating to cash position and teller processing.
Identify possible fraudulent or unusual activity and report such in accordance with Bank policy.
Exercise proper dual control when required by Bank policy.
Perform independent counts or reviews on a surprise basis.
Assist in the interviewing and hiring of new tellers and platform personnel.
Assist in evaluating and preparing branch staff performance reviews.
Assist in projects as assigned by senior management.
Adhere to high ethical and professional standards.
Interact with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction.
Resolve customer problems/issues as needed.
Identify areas that need improvement and propose corrective actions that can enhance business operations.
Assist all departments as needed.
Qualifications
3+ years of banking supervisory or management experience
Knowledge of Banking Regulations
Leadership skills
Ability to manage and motivate staff
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to take responsibility and make decisions
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize and delegate tasks efficiently
Outstanding customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
Salary Range: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00
