Job Summary The ideal candidate has a strong product management background, expertise in networking and peering technologies, and experience working with large‑scale internet infrastructure. You will be a hands‑on leader, working closely with customers, partners, engineering, and cross‑functional teams to bring innovative peering solutions to market and accelerate business growth.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the long‑term product vision and strategy for Equinix Internet Exchange services, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and comprehensive business case development that drives measurable growth
Market Leadership: Build deep expertise in peering use cases and growth opportunities, partnering with product marketing to evangelize IX value both internally and externally across global markets
Customer Partnership: Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Sales, and Business Development to engage directly with customers, understanding their evolving business needs and translating insights into product direction that solves real‑world challenges
Technical Innovation: Partner with UX, solution architects, and engineering to ideate breakthrough solutions that prioritize exceptional user experience while addressing complex networking requirements
Data‑Driven Execution: Validate product concepts with customers throughout the development lifecycle, manage feature backlogs based on rigorous business opportunity analysis, and define success metrics that drive continuous improvement
Business Operations: Perform comprehensive pricing evaluation, coordinate strategic price changes, and collaborate across product engineering, network architecture, deployment, and service delivery teams to execute seamless rollouts
Thought Leadership: Design product training curricula, provide customer and partner briefings, and serve as a global evangelist for IX solutions at industry events and peering forums
Performance Excellence: Analyze and optimize value chain activities, establish and monitor critical business metrics, and implement strategic course corrections to maximize ROI and market impact

Minimum Education Required Bachelor’s
Qualifications
7+ years of product management or engineering leadership experience in networking‑focused environments, with deep expertise in internet infrastructure, peering, or interconnection technologies
Internet Exchange expertise a plus – hands‑on experience with IX operations, peering relationships, or traffic exchange platforms
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or business administration
Proven track record of building and launching complex networking software and XaaS solutions that scale globally
Passion for mastering emerging networking technologies and architecting end‑to‑end solutions that solve complex customer challenges
Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
Strong analytical capabilities with experience using data to drive product decisions and business outcomes
Salary & Location Location: Denver, CO. Pay range: $136,000 – $224,000 USD annually. (Other active offices: Dallas Infomart Office DAI: $136,000 – $204,000; Ashburn Office AEO: $150,000 – $224,000; New York Office NYO: $150,000 – $224,000)
