We are currently seeking a Hospice Director of Business Development in the Temecula area who shares our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end‑of‑life care. This person will cover the Inland Empire and Temecula Valley area.

Qualifications
Home Health and/or Hospice sales leadership preferred
A minimum of 1 year healthcare sales management required
Proven ability to manage a sales territory and contact database
A minimum of 2 years of Hospice sales experience required
LVN or RN license is a plus
Knowledge and experience in hospice, home health, senior living, skilled nursing, and hospital systems
Proven ability to generate and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Ability to prioritize, multi‑task and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Valid driver’s license and good driving record required as a condition of employment; maintain active license as per state and federal regulations
Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to patient locations
Must clear a criminal background check, physical and drug screening
May be required to work outside of regular hours depending on business needs
What you'll be doing
Provide overall direction, oversight and expertise in sales management of the local territories
Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies governing sales referrals and related activities
Assist in recruiting, hiring and training of sales staff
Communicate organizational sales goals, priorities and professional standards to Hospice Liaisons and Clinical Liaisons
Monitor and track performance of Hospice Liaisons; implement interventions to drive optimal sales performance and exceed budgeted admissions
Maintain a disciplined and systematic approach to sales management duties, including scheduled calls, meetings, account management tools and field ride‑a‑longs
Utilize CRM to maintain and develop sales territories
Coach Hospice Liaisons to identify key referral sources, develop new business and manage accounts to grow business
Collaborate with operations on budgeting and brand enhancement; align sales growth strategies
Manage an individual book of business within a specified territory for consistent productivity
Champion disease pathway programs for implantation and execution
Collaborate with Silverado Senior Living partners for hospice educational outreach and internal sales opportunities
Comply with legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including HIPAA and Documentation Standards
Maintain a commitment to the values, culture and mission of Silverado Hospice
Function independently, coping with the mental and emotional stress of caring for patients and families with chronic or terminal illnesses
Conduct outside sales calls to potential and existing referral sources, meeting quota and conversion ratio requirements
Promote Silverado’s programs and services to medical professionals, civic and community partners
Anticipated pay range
$110,000 - $125,000 USD
