Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Project Manager

with a strong background in

core banking systems , ideally

Avaloq , to lead strategic banking technology projects. The PM will be responsible for

end-to-end project delivery , ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technology standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage

core banking transformation projects

from initiation to delivery.

Lead planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for Avaloq or similar system implementations.

Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Oversee system migration, integration, and customization activities.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Monitor project risks, timelines, and deliverables, providing regular status updates to senior management.

Drive change management and training for impacted teams.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years

experience in

Project Management

within banking or financial services.

Proven track record in

core banking system projects

(Avaloq preferred; Temenos, Flexcube also relevant).

Strong understanding of banking processes: payments, lending, securities, compliance.

Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Familiarity with vendor management and contract negotiations.
