Procurement Specialist

Rugged Science is seeking a Procurement Specialist to enhance our Purchasing Department. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, for both Industrial and Government applications. The preferred candidate will have at least two years’ experience with electronic component purchasing. Successful candidates will possess strong communication, organization, and time management skills along with experience in utilizing ERP systems.

Job Responsibilities

Utilize the ERP system to complete daily purchasing based on BOM requirements

Fulfill internal Purchase Requests

Manage flow of material from origin through delivery to warehouse

Work cohesively with the Production and Engineering Departments to ensure timely delivery

Identify sources for obsolete material and negotiate last time purchases of EOL material

Adhere to the Counterfeit Mitigation Program
