Maintenance Manager
to join our client's organization in the Addison, IL area.
Lead a skilled maintenance team at an industrial packaging site. Focus on driving continuous improvement, developing your team, and elevating plant performance through strategic leadership.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to achieve productivity and performance targets
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment modifications, and resource planning
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and capital projects
Analyze and improve department KPIs (OEE, safety, quality, cost, productivity)
Foster a positive, innovative, and compliant work environment
Manage maintenance budgets and participate in recruitment and training
Ensure regulatory compliance and support Lean/6S initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (engineering or operations management preferred)
4+ years of maintenance leadership in manufacturing (industrial automation, packaging, plastics, blow/injection molding)
Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, electrical, vacuums, chilled water, and CMMS
Union site experience is a plus
CMRP or similar certification is a plus
Strong focus on continuous/process improvement
Excellent communication, team-building, and analytical skills
