General Summary: The Reliability Engineer will evaluate product design, package, materials, and process from a reliability standpoint. This role involves recommending design improvements, test methods, and statistical process control procedures to achieve required levels of product reliability. The engineer will determine reliability requirements for components and systems to meet company, customer, and regulatory objectives, and propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and process reliability.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop qualification plans leveraging application, mission profile, and reliability risk assessments.

Perform intrinsic and device reliability analysis and simulations to access process/design capabilities.

Design and execute reliability evaluation and qualification tests (HTOL, bHAST/THB, ESD/LU, package qual), including hardware and pattern development/verification.

Conduct statistical analysis to determine failure rates and reliability metrics.

Manage test execution to meet project milestones and schedules.

Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely completion of reliability evaluations.

Collect and analyze reliability data to assess risk and inform product release decisions.

Prepare and present detailed documentation of test results and conclusions to management and project teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Materials, Mechanical, etc) or related field.

2+ years of experience in reliability engineering (including JEDEC standards and stress testing).

2+ years of experience in silicon process technology and reliability.

2+ years of experience with statistical analysis and reliability tools.

Experience with PMIC and RF products design, testing, and reliability.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of reliability principles and industry standards.

Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., ReliaSoft, JMP).

Proficiency in using AI tools.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Problem‑solving skills with deductive and inductive reasoning.

Level of Responsibility:

Works under minimal supervision.

Makes decisions with moderate impact on projects and operations.

Requires effective communication and collaboration across teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Reliability Engineering (e.g., reliability analysis, stress testing) experience or related work experience.

Master’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Reliability Engineering (e.g., reliability analysis, stress testing) experience or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Material Science, Computer Science, or related field.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $104,000.00 - $156,000.00
