Registered Nurse (RN) – Addiction & Primary Care We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to support patients in addiction and substance abuse recovery programs within a full primary care framework. This role goes beyond stabilization and detox, offering the unique opportunity to guide patients through their entire recovery journey. RNs will provide direct nursing care, deliver holistic health services, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

Compensation: $50–$55 per hour

Schedule: 3 days per week, 12‑hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM)

Will also consider RNs looking for a 2 day/week schedule

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care within a 24/7 inpatient recovery center

Deliver full primary care services in tandem with addiction treatment

Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor progress

Support stabilization services and manage patient care throughout 30‑day stays

Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and clinical staff for integrated care

Document patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions accurately

Requirements

Active RN license in good standing in Massachusetts

2 or more years of experience in addiction and substance abuse care

Strong background in primary care delivery within inpatient or residential settings

Experience administering medications, conducting patient assessments, and monitoring progress

Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, including weekends, on a rotating schedule

Nice to Haves

Familiarity with Level 3 addiction treatment settings or clinical stabilization services

CPR, First Aid, or addiction‑specific certifications

Prior inpatient or residential care experience
