An established technology-focused organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain internet/intranet applications while guiding a team of developers. This role works closely with engineering leadership to deliver high-quality software solutions and advance digital innovation across the organization.
Base pay range $155,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Define system objectives by analyzing user requirements and translating them into functional features.
Determine appropriate design methodologies, toolsets, and development approaches; conduct programming, testing, and code reviews.
Design and develop user interfaces for web applications, setting expectations and feature priorities throughout the development lifecycle.
Integrate applications by designing database architecture, server-side logic, and connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information services.
Provide coaching, technical guidance, and support to application developers.
Assist with QA and user acceptance testing to ensure usability, accuracy, and performance.
Stay current on emerging tools and development practices through research and continuous learning.
Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production applications, web services, and workflow processes.
Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business applications.
Willingness to work extended or weekend hours when required.
5+ years of modern web development experience delivering full-stack solutions across the SDLC.
Extensive SQL Server experience, including schema design, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
Strong expertise with RESTful APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core, .NET 6+, and C#.
Proficiency with Visual Studio 2019+/VS Code.
Commitment to code quality, including unit and integration testing.
Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure services (e.g., App Services, Lambda, API Gateway, Azure Functions, Key Vault).
Experience integrating AI capabilities using platforms such as Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI on Azure, and AWS SageMaker.
Ability to produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation.
