Develop and optimize DC/DC system power solutions for AI applications, with a focus on Intermediate Bus Converters (IBC), including 800 V/400 V to 48 V/12 V stages and 48 V to 12 V/6 V converters. Perform detailed circuit analysis; conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA); run simulations; and carry out bench validation. Generate system solution proposals, including block diagrams, reference schematics, bills of materials (BOM), simulation results, and test reports. Support customer design‑in activities: schematic and layout reviews, board bring‑up, system‑level validation, and debugging of technical issues. Develop simulation models and design‑assistance tools. Write application notes and technical papers for system power solutions. Create and deliver technical training materials and seminars for FAEs and customers. Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field), or equivalent practical experience. Typically 6+ years of relevant experience with an MS, or 8+ years with a BS, in power electronics, semiconductor, or related industries. Candidates with alternative pathways offering equivalent proficiency are encouraged to apply. Deep knowledge of DC/DC topologies, power device characteristics, magnetics, and control‑loop design. Practical experience designing digital multiphase converters and intermediate bus converters. Proficiency with schematic entry, circuit simulation, and PCB layout tools. Strong lab skills: use of test equipment, data collection, and preparation of detailed test reports. Experience in system‑level modeling and simulation for power converters. Experience with closed‑loop compensation design and error budget/tolerance analysis. Effective communication and presentation skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
