Job Summary B&A is looking for a Learning Architect / Trainer to join a federal government contract. The role involves designing and delivering innovative training solutions that support organizational goals. The Learning Architect/Trainer will create strategic learning architectures, develop curriculum, and lead training initiatives for recruiting systems and related programs. This team requires members to be onsite 80 % of the week, with 1–2 days hybrid.

Responsibilities

Conduct needs analyses and recommend deployable learning solutions.

Create strategic direction for analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning solutions.

Develop learning architectures for roles, including sequencing and mapping learning assets.

Utilize desktop and multimedia tools to create engaging learning content.

Serve as lead instructor for training related to recruiting systems.

Analyze existing training programs and recommend improvements.

Develop and maintain training plans, instructional curriculum, course outlines, presentations, and visual aids.

Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure course objectives are met.

Organize training events, monitor registration, and deliver training via webinars and onsite sessions.

Maintain training evaluation feedback and implement improvements.

Update training plans and curriculum as needed.

Education and Experience

Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in learning solution design and implementation.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Education, Instructional Design, HR, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Management, or Business/Finance.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).

Proficiency in e‑learning development tools (Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia).

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and reporting.

Ability to create multimedia learning content using tools like Adobe Creative Suite.

Familiarity with web‑based training platforms and virtual classroom technologies.

Excellent presentation and facilitation skills for both in‑person and virtual sessions.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for evaluating training effectiveness.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and subject matter experts.
