The Opportunity Our client is seeking a Solutions Architect with deep expertise in healthcare data and enterprise AI applications to lead solution design and deployment for top‑tier healthcare payer clients. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to ensure their AI offerings are scalable, secure, and impactful. You will act as a key technical leader, bridging client needs with the company’s product capabilities. This is an on‑site role based in Austin, TX.
Eligibility & Work Authorization This position is open only to individuals who are legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Candidates must be
U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders)
to be eligible for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Own technical discovery, architecture design, and integration strategy for new and existing customers.
Translate business requirements into scalable AI‑enabled architectures for use cases such as claims processing, clinical reviews, risk adjustment, and more.
Technical Leadership
Guide cross‑functional teams during pre‑sales and post‑sales implementations.
Develop solution blueprints and system integration plans using healthcare‑specific standards (HL7, FHIR, EDI, etc.).
Product & Delivery Collaboration
Provide feedback to product and engineering teams on customer needs, industry trends, and integration challenges.
Support Proof‑of‑Concept (POC) development and iterative deployment cycles.
Security & Compliance
Ensure all architectures meet HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards.
Contribute to enterprise architecture best practices around security, governance, and interoperability.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role within healthcare or healthtech.
Experience working with healthcare payers, including systems for claims adjudication, utilization management, member engagement, and/or provider data.
Strong understanding of healthcare data formats and compliance (HIPAA, EDI 837/835, FHIR).
Solid experience designing and integrating APIs and data pipelines in cloud‑native environments (preferably AWS).
Experience working with AI/ML platforms and tools (e.g., NLP, LLMs, vector databases).
Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
Nice to Have
Experience working with GenAI tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, Databricks, LangChain, or similar.
Exposure to healthcare‑specific enterprise systems like Epic, TriZetto, Optum, etc.
Startup experience or background in enterprise software/SaaS.
