The Vice President, High Rise (“VP”) will lead all community management business efforts in the market and will have direct responsibility for leading all property management teams while profitably growing this $300MM business. With 4,600 associates serving approximately 400 associations in South Florida, the VP reports to the President of High Rise and works cross‑functionally with marketing, HR, and financial services. The position is based in our Blue Lagoon, Miami, FL office. Your Responsibilities
Provide overall senior leadership and strategic direction of the association management business to deliver long‑term, sustainable growth. Build, mentor, and lead a team of Regional Directors (RDs) and, through them, Community Association Managers to deliver our service culture and results‑based accountability. Form strong relationships with the Board of Directors at all assigned properties to ensure client satisfaction and retention objectives are met. Partner with the Business Development Director(s) to plan and deliver long‑term, sustainable growth through developers and existing communities. Ensure RDs understand and offer our ancillary services to their respective properties. Own the annual business plan and drive financial performance to achieve targeted objectives. Attract, develop, and retain high performers; establish HR and communication processes to engage associates and manage a growing service organization. Promote and represent FirstService Residential in the marketplace to build our presence and reputation. Interview, select, recommend, hire, train, and schedule assigned staff; ensure proper coverage and assist in problem resolution. Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of senior management and executive leadership experience. Preferred experience within residential property management, hospitality, commercial or facilities management, real‑estate services or other service‑based industries. Proven experience developing and managing highly successful teams, with at least 5‑8 direct reports for 5+ years. Proven success delivering client service across a multi‑location business, including associate training and team engagement. Track record in leading and delivering sales and business growth. Experience developing and executing change‑management initiatives focused on service delivery. At least 5 years’ experience managing a P&L and the drivers of profitable service delivery. Ability to create and execute a long‑term and annual business plan (including financial budget). Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures. Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and occasionally climb. Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner. Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (wind, heat, cold, rain, etc.). What We Offer
