AI-powered govtech startup is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Founder & CEO. This is an exciting opportunity to join a 25-person team that just raised its Series A led by top-tier investors and be the first EA to a multi-time Founder. In this strategic role, you will provide support to the Founder with a bird's-eye view across multiple pillars, including company operations, board activities, personal investments, and family office. You'll manage complex calendaring across all domains, handle inbox management and communications, arrange travel, and organize events and off-sites. You will also support investment activities and the family office, and build systems that bring order across all pillars of the Founder's world. Previous experience supporting a Founder, CEO, or UHNW in a startup is preferred. Someone with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to anticipate needs, who is highly detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and remains steady under pressure. This is an in-office role based at Chelsea Piers in downtown NYC. Flexible to work outside normal hours and weekends as needed. 130-200K DOE + benefits, equity, 401k, unlimited PTO, lunch/dinner provided, and gym membership.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the strategic quarterback with a detailed view of the Founder's world—maintaining a high-level lens across company operations, board activities, personal investments, and family office to help evaluate and align on the highest priorities.

Partner with the Founder to plan ahead on a quarterly and monthly basis, ensuring focus on the most impactful initiatives across all domains.Anticipate needs, protect time, and ensure consistent follow-through on commitments.

Own calendaring across the company, board commitments, personal investments, and family office—coordinating seamlessly with internal team members and external stakeholders.

Manage the Founder's inbox, triaging messages, drafting correspondence, and maintaining responsiveness.Monitor emails, messages, and follow-ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Plan and manage domestic and international travel with attention to detail and foresight.

Coordinate company off-sites, investor meetings, and board-related events.

Handle logistics for personal and professional gatherings with a high standard of execution.

Help manage deal flow and investment opportunities from founders and entrepreneurs reaching out regularly.Schedule meetings and coordinate communications related to personal investments.

Serve as a liaison with the family office team, keeping things organized.

Help recruit and onboard new hires and service providers to support family office needs.

Plan and manage domestic and international travel with attention to detail and foresight.

Coordinate company off-sites, investor meetings, and board-related events.

Assess personal support needs and either manage directly or hire and coordinate with personal assistants and service providers to handle tasks efficiently. Work with the Executive's partner as needed.

Build processes that make the Founder's work and life run more smoothly and scalably.

Qualifications:

4+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting a Founder, CEO, UHNW individual in a startup environment.

Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented with a proven track record of managing complexity across multiple domains.

Proactive and anticipatory. You naturally think several steps ahead and catch things before they become problems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft polished communications and interact confidently with stakeholders.

High aptitude and high EQ. Ability to read situations well and adapt your approach accordingly.

Discreet and trustworthy with the ability to handle highly confidential information.

Curious and asks good questions. You seek to understand context and think critically about priorities.

Steady under pressure with excellent judgment and the ability to manage shifting priorities without getting flustered.

Takes genuine pride in keeping things running smoothly and building lasting trust with the person you support.

Strong work ethic and commitment. Willing to work after hours and weekends as needed, and flexible availability when urgent needs arise.

Tech-savvy and process-minded with proficiency in Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
