Female founder of a fast-growing startup is looking for an Executive Assistant. This is an incredible opportunity to gain exposure to executive-level strategy and startup scaling while directly influencing the company’s direction! You will handle top-priority projects from start to finish, represent the Founder in meetings and communications, prepare board materials and strategic off-sites, and develop scalable processes. Someone ambitious, detail-oriented, a strategic thinker, who proactively takes ownership, and navigates ambiguity with calm focus. Prior experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is preferred. This is an in‑office role based in NYC. 190‑200K+ DOE + benefits, bonus, and unlimited PTO.
Responsibilities
Act as an extension of the Executive by coordinating and driving high-impact strategic initiatives across the organization.
Translate the Executive’s vision into actionable strategies across technology, operations, people, and finance.
Be a trusted thought partner to the Executive to provide clarity, structure, and follow-through on top priorities.
Manage top-priority projects end-to-end, from scoping through execution and analysis.
Track milestones and performance metrics to ensure alignment with company goals.
Build accountability frameworks and feedback systems that keep projects on schedule and outcomes measurable.
Work across product, engineering, operations, and business development to keep strategy and execution aligned.
Identify interdependencies and proactively remove blockers to execution.
Build scalable systems that strengthen collaboration and streamline decision-making.
Represent the Executive in meetings and communications with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, investors, and advisors.
Prepare materials for board meetings, All Hands, strategic off‑sites, and investor updates.
Gather insights from across the organization to prepare the Executive with the information needed for informed decisions.
Analyze internal processes and implement scalable improvements.
Establish KPIs and OKRs with department heads to drive clarity and accountability.
Conduct market and competitive analyses to inform strategy and keep the company ahead of industry trends.
Qualifications
5+ years of previous experience as a strategic Executive Assistant, Operations, or Chief of Staff, ideally in high-growth environments.
Ability to operate confidently amid ambiguity and rapid change.
Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
High EQ and strategic thought partner.
Strong communicator who can synthesize complex information clearly and quickly.
Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, with minimal oversight.
Creative problem solver with a calm and grounded approach to finding solutions in dynamic environments.
Curious and comfortable working with new tech, including AI tools.
