Afriski Mountain Resort
Afriski Mountain Resort invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the positions of a Graphic/Videographer at its Site at Mahlasela Pass. The candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality visual content that highlights the unique offerings of our resort. From action-packed snowboarding footage to breathtaking mountain vistas, the Graphics/Videographer will play a key role in showcasing Afriski’s charm and adventure to our target audience.
Job Responsibilities
You will: Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop creative concepts for visual content that align with Afriski’s brand identity and marketing objectives. Capture high-quality video footage and images of resort activities, events, and landscapes using professional camera equipment. Edit and post-process raw footage and images to create engaging and compelling content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, and promotional materials. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in videography and graphic design to continuously improve the quality and impact of Afriski’s visual content. Proven experience as a videographer and/or graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in a similar role. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator). Excellent eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Knowledge of snow sports and outdoor recreation preferred. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed during peak season.
