Responsibilities Temporary/nontenured faculty will be appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory performance evaluations, continuity of funding, and departmental need. Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online.

The position is available for the fall 2025, spring 2026, and summer 2026 semesters. The pool position is not an immediate need but provides availability for future departmental needs.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching field.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching experience.
