What You'll Do
Lead strategic growth and drive HDR’s market share and revenue globally.
Build and serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, understanding their goals and aligning HDR’s capabilities.
Lead major pursuits, develop winning strategies, and guide proposal efforts that reflect deep client insight.
Collaborate with market and operations leadership to define and support regional strategic plans.
Mentor and train business development teams, fostering a culture of client focus and strategic thinking.
Align talent and expertise to client needs, partner on operational togetherness, and help attract great people.
What You Bring
Global booking in the Waste Sector and regional business development leadership.
Strong understanding of market trends, drivers, and client needs.
Experience creating vision, growth initiatives, and long‑term strategic plans.
Lead major pursuit teams and develop effective capture strategies.
Identify and fill management and technical roles; coordinate training on business development best practices.
Develop client plans, maintain deep client relationships, and partner with teaming partners.
Represent HDR at professional associations to enhance brand in target markets.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Professional or engineering registration or relevant technical experience.
Demonstrated success in winning high‑value contracts in the Waste industry.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 15 years relevant industry experience.
Self‑starter capable of completing projects with limited oversight.
Deep knowledge of A/E/C procurement and professional services.
Ability to motivate, inspire, and build a network of clients and partners.
Experience in sales, effective win strategies, financial acumen, and negotiation.
Excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel and engage in person.
Experience growing programs in new or competitive markets.
Ability to write compelling content based on technical staff input.
Benefits

Compensation ranges from $167,580 to $277,200, depending on skills, experience, education, and location.
