What does a Transitional Housing Placement Program (THPP) Director do?
Provide administrative and programmatic supervision to personnel at the THPP including scheduling of clinical and social work staff
Lead and direct personnel initial and ongoing training plans for the THPP staff
Lead program design, evaluation, and improvement of program services
Maintain a collaborative relationship with key stakeholders including the Department of Child Welfare Services and the Juvenile Probation Department
Prioritize the THPP’s core goals to enhance social-emotional, educational, vocational, and housing outcomes for program participants
Regularly coordinate with other local mental health, physical health, education, employment, and housing providers as appropriate
Conduct regular meetings with THPP staff and outside agency staff to ensure cohesion exists in support of each program participant
Quickly and efficiently respond to and address behavior concerns and illegal activity to ensure compliance of program, physical and psychological safety of all program participants in the THPP
Support the Operations Director in the development, management, and monitoring process to ensure an appropriate and sustainable budget exists for THPP
Ensure timely completion of program reporting to Community Care Licensing, grants, and other partners
Maintain compliance with Community Care Licensing regulations
Work directly with Operations Director on special branch projects such as annual retreat, fund development, annual campaign, and other strategic planning processes
Provide association-wide services to CIYMCA to support social responsibility focus; coordinate activities, relationships, and trainings for opportunities to meet community needs
Ensure on-call schedule is maintained 24-hours per day
Direct responsibility for hiring, evaluating, counseling, and developing personnel at the THPP
Lead THPP to support excellence in service delivery and meet adjusting needs of clients, staff, and the community
Assure accurate and timely paperwork to meet departmental needs in accounting, human resources, marketing, and fund development

Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be Group Home Administrator (GHA) at time of hire or within 6 months of hire
Master’s Degree required in Social Work or a related field
2 years related work experience
Complete required certifications within 60 days of hire
Complete all required Branch and Position specific trainings as required within two weeks of hire
Ability to obtain a criminal record clearance
Ability to participate in the DMV Pull Program
Health Screening Report and negative TB test required prior to first day of employment
