About the Role A fast‑growing AI startup is hiring a Founding Software Engineer to work at the forefront of voice and conversational AI. This role offers high ownership and the opportunity to design, build, and deploy cutting‑edge LLM and voice‑based systems in production. As an early engineer, you’ll work directly on the systems that power next‑generation conversational agents, while also building internal tools that make it easier to create, evaluate, and optimize these AI experiences. What You’ll Do
Develop and deploy state‑of‑the‑art LLM and voice systems for real‑time conversational AI
Build internal tools that accelerate the creation and iteration of intelligent agents
Work across backend or full‑stack components depending on your strengths
Collaborate directly with customers to understand use cases and ship what matters
Own projects end‑to‑end—from design to implementation to evaluation
Contribute to foundational architectural and product decisions
Help build a fast‑paced, ownership‑driven engineering culture

Passion for learning, experimentation, and staying current with AI/LLM innovations
Nice to Have
Experience with LLMs, conversational AI, or prompt engineering
Prior experience as an early‑stage startup engineer or founder
Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Python, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, or AWS
