*Position Description:*
Wynn Associates, Inc. is a dynamic consulting engineering firm, specializing in Municipal Engineering. The firm currently represents 15 municipalities in central and upper Bucks County. The Civil/Municipal Engineer will be required to participate in all aspects of municipal engineering and provide the following design services: infrastructure plan preparation including site grading, stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control measures; review of land development plans for Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Ordinance and other regulatory compliance; and preparation of permit applications/plans/specifications for submission to PennDOT, PADEP, Conservation District, and grant agencies. We are seeking a candidate with technical and leadership skills which can develop into a lead client representative, with professional growth opportunities, including potential equity position with the firm.
*Essential Functions & Responsibilities:*
* Review, interpret and implement municipal ordinance requirements. * Interact with Township officials & professionals, and DEP, PennDOT and Conservation District representatives. * Attendance at municipal meetings. * Review site grading, erosion control design, stormwater management design, site layout, and similar plans. * Review subdivision and land development plans for compliance with applicable ordinances. * Inspect Municipal storm sewer systems and prepare reports. * Design plan and permit application preparation utilizing AutoCAD. * Stormwater management design and modeling including General Permit & NPDES applications. * Prepare bid plans and specifications for infrastructure projects. * Construction observation of infrastructure projects. * Prepare correspondence, memos and reports. * Manage multiple clients/projects and coordinate with our in-house team and consultants. * Communicate technical information to those with and without technical understanding.
*Essential Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. * Licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania. * 2 to 5 years of Land Development/Municipal Engineering experience. * Organized and detailed oriented.
*Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:*
* Organized and detail oriented with excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to lead and develop team members. * Exceptional oral and written communication skills. * Possesses knowledge of the Subdivision/Land Development process and is able to interpret ordinance requirements. * Possesses knowledge of stormwater management design, MS4 PRP/TMDL plans; erosion & sedimentation control design, and PADEP permitting process. * Construction inspection and/or construction work experience preferably related to infrastructure projects. * Ability to interact with township officials & professionals, and DEP, PennDOT and Conservation District representatives. * Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD (preferably Civil 3D), ArcGIS, and Hydraflow. xmvmafu
