$260,000 – $360,000 per year, plus equity About My Client

My client is a seed-stage company founded in 2015, backed by leading investors, and focused on transforming the $1.3 trillion electronics industry. Their platform is already used by more than 1.8 million engineers worldwide to design products faster and more efficiently. With a proprietary dataset of over ten million components, schematic symbols, and footprints, they are scaling with AI-powered solutions that are reshaping how hardware is built. The Role

My client is seeking a Director of Sales to lead and grow the sales organization while also carrying an individual quota. This is a player-coach role: you will manage a team of Account Executives, drive new business, and refine the company’s go-to-market strategy. You will report directly to leadership and play a critical role in scaling revenue for a product already loved by millions of engineers. Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Account Executives (currently three), while expanding the team over time Carry an individual quota of approximately $850K annually Own the sales pipeline for component suppliers, focusing on net new accounts Prospect, generate leads, and close deals with marketing leaders (Manager through CMO) in SaaS and semiconductor industries Execute a streamlined sales process with prompt, value-based customer engagement Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations to finalize contracts Use data and sales tools (Hubspot, AI lead generation tools, LinkedIn plugins, Mixpanel, Tableau) to refine sales motions and improve outcomes Define and implement strategic sales plans to accelerate growth Qualifications

Seed or Series A startup experience within the last three years Proven success carrying a quota of $500K or more Five or more years of sales leadership experience, ideally in SaaS or semiconductor industries Strong technical acumen and comfort with CRM and analytics tools High energy, resourceful, and persistent, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, tell compelling stories, and build trusted relationships Team-oriented, low ego, coachable, and dependable Why This Opportunity Stands Out
