We are seeking a nurse leader passionate about skilled nursing, seeking to grow, motivate and lead their team of nursing staff and peers to provide the highest quality, patient centered care.

Position Overview The Nurse Manager provides excellent care through preventive medicine and the ability to detect a potential decline to avoid crisis. This is done through day-to-day involvement, meaningful and purposeful rounding, and impromptu huddles as necessary, utilizing clinical judgment and critical thinking, while engaging all nurses, CNAs, and other disciplines in the process. In a leadership capacity, the Nurse Manager supervises, evaluates guides, instructs and fosters the growth and development of staff through scheduling, work assignments, unit meetings, audits, in-services and corrective action plans to continue to ensure superior care is provided to our residents.

The Ideal Candidate Will

Have proven clinical and managerial experience with driving high-performing nursing teams

Have prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care

Experience with SigmaCare strongly preferred

Be a graduate from an approved school of nursing

Have an active RN license for New York State

CPR certification
