What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Build structure for the portfolio, including standards, workflows, and reporting
Supervise, mentor, and develop a technical team, Help Desk, customer experience, and special projects staff
Lead major programs from kickoff through closeout, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction
Capture requirements and maintain documentation in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
Drive consistent planning, risk management, and financial tracking across teams
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience managing complex federal programs
Experience supporting Department of State (DoS) or federal law enforcement customers
Proven ability to lead without direct authority and coordinate across functions
Strong working knowledge of SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a clearance and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Prior experience with the Department of State
PMP certification
Advanced degree (MBA or similar)
Background in biometrics or system integration
Experience managing large government contracts
