Manufacturing Operations Supervisor – 1st Shift (Onsite)
Position Summary: Join Collins Aerospace as a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor on the first shift in Burnsville, MN. This onsite leadership role drives production excellence and continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
Ensure all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.
Guide cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
Plan and execute scheduling for multiple cells or a complex cell to meet production schedules.
Guide the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for multiple cells or a complex cell to optimize productivity.
Facilitate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
Guide production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for multiple cells or a complex cell to enhance production capabilities.
Collaborate with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.
Ensure all employees have a safety-first mindset and are adhering to EH&S policies.
Execute production plan in line with the MPS (Master Production Schedule) to achieve on‑time delivery, hours, and efficiency commitments.
Real‑time problem resolution and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management.
Effectively manage resource requirements in line with capacity models and demand rates.
Pulse survey participation, listening to feedback and driving improvement actions.
Lead and conduct meetings/reviews and prepare information to communicate the status of the programs to internal and external customers.
Qualifications – Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices or, in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
Qualifications – Preferred
Lean certification.
SAP proficiency.
Collaborative leadership behaviors emphasizing high goal setting, team empowerment, and support.
Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early and concisely with individuals at all organizational levels.
Ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve challenges.
