Responsibilities

Maintain quality product standards with no defects.

Meet customer deadlines and expectations.

Comply with applicable elements of quality systems.

Participate in cost‑reduction and continuous‑improvement plans/events.

Participate in audits.

Acquire applicable skill, knowledge, and certifications as required.

Inspect parts, perform coating, labeling/boxing, and general preparation for shipment.

Check parts for cracks, loose connections, faulty bonds, and improper assembly.

Record test results in the testing log; route products for rework or salvage of usable parts.

Route reworked assemblies for testing; clean completed assemblies; assemble parts according to blueprint specifications.

Test parts by connecting to test equipment, setting controls, observing readings, and checking for malfunctions.

Set up and use equipment such as Ragen Assembly, Component Lead Former, Drill Press, Denison Hydraulic Press, Component Lead tinning, and S.M.T. Re‑flow.

Fabricate instrument parts through crimping, staking, and cutting.

Perform specific tasks including welding, soldering, item test and inspection, filler, and immersion testing after proper training and/or certification.

Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Comply with all Raytheon Technologies rules and regulations, including Environmental Health and Safety.

Complete assigned tasks within the scope and skill level of the job description to support department objectives and develop individual skills.

Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re‑instruct as required.

Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – Must Have

High school diploma or GED.

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee status).

Qualifications – Prefer

Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Career Readiness Certification (CRC) strongly preferred.

Ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings.

Ability to successfully complete training modules associated with job grade.

Ability to follow assembly instructions.

Ability to work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Understanding of end uses of products being built.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail to ensure safety and quality.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.

Teamwork ability to support work capacity in a fast‑paced environment.

Intermediate computer skills (typing, navigating screens, learning new software).

Analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to take direction from more experienced coworkers, leads, and supervisors.

Starting rate of pay for this role is $20.00 /hour; compensation is based on role, responsibilities, location, education, experience, and key skills.
