Base pay range:

$26.00/hr - $31.00/hr

Position Summary Alamon, Inc., a Montana‑based employee‑owned company since 1975, provides installation services to the utilities, energy, and communications industries nationwide. The Warehouse Supervisor coordinates the daily activities of workers engaged in materials movement or handling, receiving, loading, unloading, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock in a storeroom or warehouse. They review shipping or receiving orders, develop work schedules, and assign work to subordinates. Individuals with solid telecommunications expertise and experience are encouraged to apply.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Schedule, hire, train, and oversee warehouse staff.

Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.

Administrative and Operational Duties

Receive and record new inventory as it is delivered; inspect and store it according to policy.

Conduct physical inventory, compare results to computerized inventory, and reconcile differences.

Replenish stock and inventory as needed.

Ensure all stock is stored in the correct locations in the warehouse.

Transfer inventory to trucks for delivery promptly and according to schedule.

Schedule materials being transferred to and from the warehouse, and coordinate transfer of inventory between departments.

Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase efficiency of warehouse practices.

Monitor expenditures.

Implement corrective actions if needed.

Enforce operating instructions and safety policies.

Resolve routine equipment issues.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.

Capability to work outdoors in a physically demanding, all‑weather environment, lifting or moving up to 50 lbs.

Minimum Position Qualifications

Must pass the pre‑employment screening process which includes a background check, drug test and motor vehicle records pull.

Possess a current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; no DUI/DWIs within the past 5 years.

Willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.

Be available to work nights and weekends as required by project demands.

Experience in distribution or manufacturing (1–3 years).

Work Environment

Position is based in a warehouse. Exposure to dust, odors, gases, vapors, varying noise levels, and wet or slick surfaces may occur.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to climb ladders and lift at least 50 lbs. at times.

May need to lift up to 15 lbs at times.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel required; lodging and transportation will be provided while traveling for the company.

Education & Experience

Associate degree in Business or a similar discipline required.

At least 1–3 years of experience in distribution or manufacturing required.
