Description This position is responsible for establishing and securing profitable business with environmental, industrial and transportation clients as well as performing strategic sales as directed by management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record developing business primarily within either or both the environmental and transportation industry, maintaining current relationships and target customers and assisting with industrial sales as needed. The position will develop relationships with existing and prospective customers, analyze needs, and align them with environmental and transportation projects. Position will perform sales related to transportation services typical in the environmental/industrial industry. Prior marketing strategy experience is a plus.
Requirements Understanding the utilization of dump truck/dump trailer, roll off, tanker, vac tanker, flatbed trailers, roll off/sludge/vac box containers, and frac tanks for dedicated waste streams, bulk, liquid & specialty transportation services and excavation/decommissioning/land services is necessary. Experience with dedicated transportation contracts is preferred, as well as established local/regional client relationships. A good driving record along with some weekends, overtime and occasional overnight travel is also required.
