Procurement Analyst, Bureau of Operations
Join to apply for the Procurement Analyst, Bureau of Operations role at NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Responsibilities
Initiate solicitation documents covering various methods of procurement. Generate and perform tasks through PASSPort for oversight reviews and approvals. Utilize Citywide procurement-related systems, including Archibus, FMS, PASSPort, M/WBE Online Directory, Central Storehouse requisitions, and other internal systems for managing procurements and invoices. Review procurement documents, verifying descriptions & specifications for accuracy and ensuring conformity & oversight compliance in accordance with Procurement Policy Board Rules. Support M/WBE initiatives and perform other related assignments and special projects as may be required. Follow up on problems regarding delivery of goods and services and prepare periodic progress reports on procurement status. Make reports on contractors’ performance and act as primary liaison between the agency and contractors, vendors and business representatives. Maintain and track contract and payment records and manage inventory in Archibus. May supervise subordinate staff. Qualifications
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and six months of satisfactory full‑time professional experience in procurement of goods, services, construction or related services, or professional, technical or administrative experience in contract negotiation/management; or An associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college, and 18 months of satisfactory full‑time professional experience as described in “1” above; or A four‑year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and two and one‑half years of satisfactory full‑time professional experience as described in “1” above; or A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to “1”, “2”, or “3” above. Minimum 3‑5 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or plant‑related position. Possession of a valid Motor Vehicle Driver License valid in the State of New York for the duration of employment. Benefits
