Quality Specialist
to take ownership of its ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for a quality professional who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment and is passionate about continuous improvement, audit readiness, and operational excellence.
Hours & Compensation Salary:
$60,000-$70,000 annually
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

What You'll Do
Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
Ensure audit readiness through documentation control, internal audits, and cross-functional coordination
Manage corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification
Oversee daily quality control activities such as inspections, sampling, and testing
Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive corrective actions
Investigate product and process non-conformities and lead resolution efforts
Maintain controlled documents, including SOPs, work instructions, and forms
Deliver QMS and audit-preparedness training across teams
Ensure compliance with internal specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Production to implement process improvements

What We're Looking For
5+ years of progressive quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated leadership and hands-on experience with ISO 9001 auditing
Degree or diploma in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive accountability
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Willingness to travel occasionally for audits, training, or vendor engagement
Work Environment
On-site role at a manufacturing facility in Markleville, IN
Combination of office and production floor work
PPE required in designated areas
