Quality Control Specialist
who takes pride in precision, consistency, and continuous improvement within a fast‑paced production environment.
Hours & Pay
Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 4:00 PM‑12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour plus $1.00 shift differential
Employment Type: Direct Hire
A bout the Role As a Quality Control Specialist, you will ensure products, processes, and services consistently meet established quality standards. You’ll conduct inspections and audits, analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and partner cross‑functionally to drive corrective and preventive actions throughout the production lifecycle.
What You'll Do
Conduct inspections and testing of products, components, and materials at multiple stages of production
Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, defects, and improvement opportunities
Document non‑conformances and deviations from quality standards
Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
Support continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing quality processes and procedures
Collaborate with production, engineering, and customer‑facing teams to uphold quality standards
Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, test results, and corrective actions
Provide guidance and training to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices
Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and operational success
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in quality management, applied engineering, technology systems, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in quality control or a related role
Experience with quality management systems; familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 is a plus
Knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis tools
Direct mail or print production experience preferred
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A mindset focused on continuous improvement and quality excellence
