Role Overview The Project Coordinator will be a key member of Skyloom’s Program Management Office, supporting multiple projects simultaneously across the organization. This role ensures smooth project execution by coordinating schedules, tracking progress, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among Project Managers and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Support
Assist multiple Project Managers (PMs) in planning, executing, and monitoring ongoing projects.
Maintain and update project schedules, Gantt charts, and milestones.
Track progress against deliverables and identify risks or delays.
Prepare and distribute weekly project status updates, dashboards, and KPI summaries.
Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a communication hub for project activities across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Production, QA, and Leadership.
Organize and facilitate project meetings, including agenda preparation, minutes, and action item tracking.
Follow up on action items to ensure timely closure and accountability.
Documentation & PMO Process Compliance
Maintain project documentation repositories (requirements, schedules, risk registers, decisions logs).
Ensure projects adhere to PMO methodologies, templates, and processes.
Assist in preparing customer documentation, internal reports, and executive summaries.
Change, Risk, and Issue Management
Support PMs with risk and issue identification, tracking, and mitigation status updates.
Coordinate review and approval of change requests across stakeholders.
Resource & Logistics Coordination
Track resource allocations and workloads across projects.
Assist with the logistical planning of project activities (e.g., test campaigns, material readiness, procurement requests).
Requirements Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or related field.
PMP, CAPM, or similar certification (preferred but not required).
Experience
1–3 years of experience in project coordination or PMO support, ideally in aerospace, high-tech manufacturing, telecommunications, or similar industries.
Experience working with engineering teams on complex technical projects.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, Monday, or equivalent).
Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Teams and SharePoint.
Familiarity with engineering or manufacturing environments (preferred).
Soft Skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving ability and initiative.
Works well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Success Profile
A successful Project Coordinator in the PMO will:
Keep multi-project workflows running smoothly and predictably.
Build strong working relationships with PMs and technical teams.
