MetTel is looking for a Service Delivery Coordinator – Tier 1 Support. This role provides Level 1 remote technical support and works closely with Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams during deployment of MetTel solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
Act as the initial point of contact for technicians in the field.
Serve as the first line of communication with customers on the scheduled activity date.
Perform data entry and tracking to ensure accurate records of deployments and support activities.
Collaborate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams to escalate and resolve issues efficiently.
Desired Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in any field.
Telecom background, including a basic understanding of inside wiring infrastructure.
Ability to work closely with field technicians, offering direction and support to ensure successful job completion.
Assertive with a high degree of flexibility and drive, able to adapt to frequently changing work volumes.
Proficiency in computer and office applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word) and potentially specialized systems or databases depending on the industry.
General understanding of network protocols and basic understanding of Broadband DIA circuits and protocols.
Ability to track progress on installation projects.
Note: Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The U.S. pay for this position is up to $55,000 annually and varies by work location and by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities.
