Essential Job Functions
Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center.
Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route and deliver to appropriate store.
Responsibly keep the fleet/fuel card, vehicle and keys secure and familiarize with accident report guidelines.
Ensure the designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest.
Deliver according to schedule, reporting delays to the city delivery supervisor or remaining stores.
Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations and communicate any problems to store management.
Clock in/out in accordance with company policy.
Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day.
Report vehicle maintenance needs and ensure the fuel tank is filled; lock and secure the vehicle at the end of business, driving safely and defensively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
Driving record must meet the 14/18‑point system standard.
Desired Skills
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
