General Purpose The Associate Analyst, Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Shortage Control position supports all inventory control indicators, transactions, and quality control metrics pertaining to shrink and shortage for the supply chain network. The Analyst researches and provides data analysis to support preventing shrink and partners with executive teams, merchants, ICQA team, managers, and senior business analysts.
The base pay range for this role is $23.08 – $31.73 per hour, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, and location.
Essential Functions
Research and provide data analysis to support preventing shrink, identifying opportunities related to high shrink.
Present data in charts, graphs, and tables.
Partner with multiple departments to resolve problems and communicate research/resolutions.
Collaborate with Operations and provide data to help prevent and recover shrink.
Research and recommend alternative actions, procedural updates, audits, and potential system updates.
Provide consistent internal and external customer service.
Conduct ad hoc analysis and special requests as assigned.

Qualifications And Special Skills Required
2 years of Inventory Control & QA or analyst experience preferred.
College degree or equivalent work experience.
Ability to import, clean, transform, validate, and model data.
Advanced experience in MS Excel, MS Access, and VBA (or similar).
SQL and query capability preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Professional interaction with all levels within the organization.
Sense of urgency in responding to needs of Associates and Managers.
Coordinate and engage with different teams across the network.
Attention to detail and high accuracy.
Knowledge of Distribution Center processes and reports preferred.
English language proficiency.
Physical Requirements / ADA Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed throughout shift.
Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. Requires sitting, standing, walking, reaching, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in‑person meetings, typing, handling objects with hands, and working with paper/files.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance required.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires full‑time in‑office presence for team interaction, meetings, client support, mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
