Operational Risk Management Department - Business Continuity Management Associate/AVP
Bank of China USA Overview
This position will interact with stakeholders across all departments and branches to maintain a sound Business Continuity (BC) Program for the Bank. The position will lead the coordination of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Risk Assessment (RA), and update of BC Plan, organizing BC testing, and updating all BCP related documents. Responsibilities
Lead the BC program and lifecycle activities to minimize the effects of business disruptions and fulfill regulatory and policy compliance requirements. Lead the update and maturing of BC program related policy and procedures. Coordinate BIA, RA, and BC Plan updates across BOCNY, including updates to the BOCNY Pandemic Response Plan. Complete BCM-related reports when required, including risk committee reports and presentations. Lead the development and launch of training plan for BC Program. Keep track of all regulatory updates and industry best practices for BCM. Collaborate with other risk related functions review and requirements, such as Third Party Risk Management, IT Risk Management, Information Security and RCSA for instance as a BCM subject matter expert. Lead the organization of BC-related tests, including disaster recovery, pandemic, system, etc. Lead and provide guidance in drafting test plans and reports with test results - organize lessons learned and provide remediation requirements when necessary. Report test results to risk committees. Lead the maintenance of BOCNY’s resilience and viability before, during, and after an adverse event. Coordinate with IMT and related departments (i.e. information security) during other types of events (cyber security and pandemic) for immediate reaction and response as per the BC Plans including the BOCNY Pandemic Response Plan. Conduct post incident review and identify follow-up or remedial actions, as required. Complete related special projects/tasks assigned by department head. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required. 4+ years of work experience in Business Continuity Planning for AVP level; 1+ years of work experience in Business Continuity Planning for AVP level. Solid knowledge in Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery. DRII/CBCP, BCI/MBCI certifications are preferred, but not required. Pay Range
