Project Manager
The Waldinger Corporation seeks a Project Manager to help our teams successfully execute complex balancing and commissioning projects. This person will work directly with the Service Department, leading an established balancing and commissioning team. Applicants with a background in commissioning are preferred; mechanical and architectural engineers looking to transition from the design field to commissioning are also encouraged.
Responsibilities
Serve as project manager for balancing and commissioning projects, estimating, executing, and managing scope
Provide functional testing of building systems, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Provide quality assurance of Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing of air and hydronic systems
Provide quality assurance of building automated controls systems
Review and provide NEBB balance reports
Document and coordinate commissioning activities with owners and construction teams
Qualifications
Engineering degree (ME/EE/AE) or construction management degree with at least 2+ years of field experience
NEBB Certified professional certification
Experience with design, installation, or troubleshooting of MEP systems
Knowledge of the Commissioning Process per ASHRAE Guidelines
Ability to apply technical expertise quickly and offer clients strong solutions in the field
Strong communication skills
Extremely responsive and dedicated to meeting expectations
Experience managing schedules of complex projects
