Job Description The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to help our teams successfully execute complex balancing and commissioning projects. This person will work directly with the Service Department leading an established balancing and commissioning team. While candidates with previous commissioning experience are preferred, this opportunity is also open to mechanical and architectural engineers looking to change from the design field to commissioning.
Responsibilities
Serve as project manager for balancing and commissioning projects estimating, executing and managing scope
Provide functional testing of building systems, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Provide quality assurance of Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing air and hydronic systems
Provide quality assurance of building automated controls systems
Review and provide NEBB balance reports
Provide documentation and coordination of commissioning activities with owners and construction teams
Qualified Candidates Ideally Possess
Engineering degree (ME/EE/AE) or construction management degree with at least 2+ years field experience
NEBB Certified professional certification
Experience with either design, installation, or troubleshooting MEP systems
Knowledge of the Commissioning Process per ASHRAE Guidelines
Ability to apply technical expertise quickly and offer clients strong solutions in the field
Strong communication skills
Extremely responsive and dedicated to meeting expectations
Experience managing schedules of complex projects
