Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: The Manager of Retail Space Management sits within the DTC Visual Merchandising organization, this role’s primary objective is to serve as a key driver in optimizing profitability and facilitating growth by elevating the consumer experience within our stores. This pivotal role encompasses the strategic shaping of the retail footprint, ensuring a consumer‑centric approach, and spearheading excellence in store floor planning and option counts. The responsibilities extend beyond analysis, encompassing the translation of sales data and various metrics into tangible actions that shape the overall consumer experience and guide the creation of effective floor plans. This role manages the monthly and quarterly store directive process, ensuring a seamless and strategic approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute innovative retail space strategies aligned with the overall visual merchandising goals.

Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for optimizing retail space and driving sales.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with both Global and NAM visual merchandising standards.

Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance commercial outcomes and brand presentation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including merchandising and planning functions, regional directors, and district managers as well as retail marketing team members.

Act as a strategic partner, providing constructive insights and contributing to the overall success of the visual merchandising organization.

Develop and maintain regular reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of retail space management initiatives.

Utilize data analysis to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Show leadership through living the brand values.

Requisite Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proficiency in developing and implementing innovative strategies, analyzing data, and identifying retail solutions.

Comprehensive understanding of how various elements of the marketing mix impact consumer motivation, product needs and the retail experience.

Expertise in the retail landscape, visual merchandising, retail marketing, and presentation.

Robust project and budget management skills.

Flexibility to work with short timelines in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to interact at all levels within an organization.

Passion for product and brand.

Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels of clients, sales associates through senior managers and internal stakeholders.

Strong project and budget management and planning skills.

Strong influencing skills internally and externally.

Ability to work some weekends.

Ability to travel: Estimated at 30%.

Excellent MS Office skills, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch up and other floor planning software.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Business, Merchandising or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant Retail, Visual Merchandising and Product experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
