Job Description - Applications Consultant 2 - Informatica IDQ Lead (051890) Applications Consultant 2 - Informatica IDQ Lead Responsibilities
Designing, developing, testing and deploying data quality applications using Informatica DQ Developer. Importing, cleaning, transforming, validating and modeling data with the purpose of understanding and drawing conclusions from data (charts, graphs, and/or tables). Create tables, load data, and create UNIX shell scripts to support data quality applications. Provide support of server-based databases in development and test environments including database software installation, database creation, performance and capacity design, backup and recovery design, security design, providing analytical feedback as appropriate. Ensure optimum performance and data integrity of databases in production environments, in line with the requirements. Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment. Applicants for employment in the US must have valid work authorization that does not now and/or will not in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the US by Capgemini. Qualifications
SQL relational database experience in data manipulation, data conversion, query generation, import and export processes, and report generation. UNIX scripting MS Excel Bachelor’s Degree preferred or similar experience Qualifications: (IDQ with PowerCenter). 4-6 years of experience working on Informatica products like Power Center and IDQ. Strong hands on experience to Informatica IDQ. Should be able to provide consulting to clients w.r.t IDQ and respond to client queries related to the product and implementation. In depth knowledge on Informatica architecture. Experience on performance tuning. Knowledge of Informatica administration desirable. Knowledge of data warehousing environment. Ability to gather requirements and elicit requirements document and prepare design documents. Experience working on datawarehouse environment, RDBMS, understanding data models, facts and dimensions. Good communication skills. Exposure Oracle database, SQL, performance tuning of queries and writing Pl-SQL code. Company Information / Equal Opportunity
