Job Description
The Senior Business Analyst will address reporting and analytics needs by working with analytic centers of excellence (ACE) leadership; service line, IT, and operational leaders; and teams responsible for the design and development of data and analytics solutions across the data ecosystem. The business analyst is responsible for managing the master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. This role supports the development and delivery of data to stakeholders so that they have the information necessary to operate successfully.
Responsibilities
Assists in the management of the ACE intake process
Works closely with multidisciplinary teams in order to provide accurate and timely information
Acts as the ACE liaison in data delivery including creation & automation
Works closely with ACE leadership on ad hoc reporting, identifying areas of opportunity
Ensures data and analytics and EMR alignment for related processes, tools and policies provided by leadership
Acts as the champion for data quality
Communicates and fosters cross-functional collaboration with leadership and analytics stakeholders to develop analytics strategic objectives and goals
Quick study with ability to both understand a new area of healthcare business needing analytics solution planning or design assistance as well as maintain a good understanding of infrastructure standards so as to lead architecture review efforts
Ensures training support to educate staff on analytics tools, dashboard interpretation, best practices, and use of data to support organizational aims
Engages with the BHC Information Security Officer (ISO) to assure that data and patient privacy are integrated to the design, access, and management of information
Highly responsive to internal customers
Is responsible for department's operational excellence; ensures department delivers quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards
Effectively communicates departmental, organization, and industry issues to leadership
Assist in other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the department and organization
May be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters
