Job Description We are searching for a Senior Quality Engineer for a growing tier 1 automotive supplier. We are searching for an individual with strong problem solving skills who can lead corrective actions and working closely with Tooling and Manufacturing Engineering. This is a "wear a lot of hats" type of role, working in a fast paced, metal stamping environment.
Qualifications Must have experience in the following areas:
Manage APQP activities (Drawing reviews, Control Plans, Gage R & R, Capability Studies, etc.)
Review, prepare and submit PPAP's
Manage activities associated with launch of new products to ensure all areas (Design, Process, and Quality) have been adequately developed
Participation in technical reviews during Feasibility as well as during APQP
Interact directly with suppliers & customers regarding PPAP/APQP issues
B.S. degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
3-5 years’ experience in automotive Quality Engineering role
Experience with Tier One Automotive manufacturing required
Experience with TS16949, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, PPAP
